So, you have already bought all your items beforehand since expecting (as per this newborn checklist), but haven’t gotten to packing your hospital bag for delivery yet?
Fret not. If you are in a hurry and do not want to miss anything whilst rushing to the delivery suite, this checklist for your hospital bag is exactly what you need now.
Mummies and daddies, we know how frantic and nervous it can get.
Water bag burst? Bleeding or contractions? Called the delivery suite and hospital advised to check in immediately?
If you have not already packed your bags, follow this complete checklist before heading to the hospital to deliver your baby / babies:
Packing checklist of must-brings to the hospital:
These are the absolute essentials you must pack first:
- Identity documents (NRIC/Passport/etc)
- Marriage Certificate
- Hospital admission documents
- Insurance contact details and documents
- Your birth plan (if any)
- Your own list of to-dos (eg. list of people to call and inform, who may need to visit you)
- Some cash (avoid large amounts or jewelry lest they get lost in your busy process)
- Extra bags (you may end up bringing more items home like the hospital documents / medications / apparel / gifts / etc)
- Hand sanitizers / Face masks
